Salah Issues Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the fallout from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a European match after criticising the club and stating his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has chosen not to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.
He also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Their results have remained strong in the games following the situation. He feels the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and on a positive run.”
